We met in Seattle on a rainy Thursday night through mutual friends and somehow ended up talking until the restaurant closed.
What started as coffee dates, long drives, and Sunday mornings together slowly became a life we couldn't imagine without each other.
Five years later, Mateo proposed during a weekend away on the coast, and Sofia said yes before he even finished asking.
Now we get to celebrate with all of you.
Saturday, September 19, 2027
The reception is at The Edgewater, the hotel that sits right over Elliott Bay. We picked it for the huge windows and the wooden beams - it feels like an old lodge, but you're looking out at the water the whole night.
Dress Code
Think elevated, romantic, and comfortable enough to dance. Suits, dresses, jumpsuits, and evening separates are all welcome. We kindly ask guests to avoid wearing white, ivory, or cream.
Friday
7:00 PM
Join us for casual drinks and a chance to say hello before the wedding day. We'll meet at a relaxed neighborhood bar in Capitol Hill with light bites, cocktails, and plenty of time to catch up.
Saturday
4:30 PM
Ceremony followed by cocktail hour, photography booth, live performance, dinner, and reception.
Sunday
11:00 AM
One last meal together before everyone heads home. Coffee, pastries, brunch favorites, and a few final hugs will be served at a nearby Seattle café.
The ceremony will take place at the Conservatory at Volunteer Park, and the reception will be held at The Edgewater Hotel.
We recommend rideshare or public transportation if you're staying nearby.
Limited parking will be available near both venues, but guests should allow extra time for traffic and downtown parking.

The ceremony is planned outdoors at the Conservatory at Volunteer Park, with an indoor backup option in case of rain.
The reception will take place at The Edgewater Hotel on the Seattle waterfront.
Yes. A live Seattle-based band will perform during the reception and will play a mix of romantic favorites and dance songs.
Yes. Our photography booth will be available throughout the reception for portraits and candid photos with friends and family.
Please arrive 20-30 minutes before the ceremony begins.
Limited parking is available, but we highly recommend rideshare or public transportation for anyone staying in Seattle.
We're having an unplugged ceremony and kindly ask that phones remain away until cocktail hour.

We know that traveling, taking time away from work, and simply showing up takes effort.
